Business Analyst and Process Improvement Lead

 
As a Business Analyst and Process Improvement Lead, I am responsible for defining and enabling business change and Process Improvement within the Cellular Genetics Programme.

As a Business Analyst and Process Improvement Lead in the Cellular Genetics Programme, I utilise my scientific background and analysis skills to look for opportunities to enhance our Operational delivery. I have the responsibility for horizon scanning and leading our process improvements and standardisation, seeking to create efficient and streamlined processes for the team.

I am responsible for determining and working closely with relevant stakeholders, internal or external, to understand complex internal business processes, requirements and gaps. I understand and articulate business change needs, assess the impact of those changes, capture, analyse and document requirements and support the communication and delivery of those requirements.

I currently line manage a Project Manager as well as the Graduate Programme trainees within our team, helping to develop and guide them through their six month rotation within CellGen.

Outside of my role, I’m a trained Mental Health First Aider with specialised training in suicide intervention through ASIST, as well as co-chair of the Employee Partnership.
