I’m an experienced Science Writer with a passion for sharing science stories. I love translating science into accessible, engaging, easy-to-understand content. My specialities are biology, health, pharma R&D and digital science. As Science Writer at the Wellcome Sanger Institute, I write for the Sanger blog.

Science Writer

I’m a Science Writer in the Sanger Communications team. My role is to track down stories across our diverse research portfolio and create engaging written content.

I write for the Sanger blog, as well as the website, intranet, scientific award nominations and annual highlights.

My long career in science writing and communication includes Cancer Research UK, the BBSRC, EMBL-EBI and the University of Cambridge. I studied Biology at the University of Oxford and Science Communication at Imperial College London. I’m also certified in Marketing and I’m a PRINCE2 Practitioner.
