As the research manager I have strategic oversight and delegated responsibility for the operational management of the Malaria research programme. Not only I am responsible for the delivery of a seamless administrative service to the head of faculty and programme teams, but provide high-level project management support as well.
Before joining Sanger, I worked as an Institute Laboratory Manager and held responsibility for the operational management of clinical research facilities across five research centres, including CL3 laboratories. Prior to this, I worked in biotech start-up as a post-doctoral fellow with an active involvement in both project management and R&D.
