I’m co-lead of the Genomics Innovation team which involves working collaboratively with the Head of Technology Translation at Sanger (Emmanuelle Astoul) to drive our strategy to achieve impact with our science by using business creation and business engagement to apply our research into new products or services.
As Head of Entrepreneurship at Sanger and on Campus, my role is to deliver expertise and initiatives that nurture the entrepreneurial skills and ideas of our scientists, enable a culture that supports entrepreneurship and innovation and evolve our innovation ecosystem including both the community within the BioData Innovation Centre (BIC) and interactions with the wider entrepreneurial community in Cambridge.
