Business Manager

As a Business Manager, my work primarily focuses on the infrastructural elements needed to run a complex operation like the Genomic Surveillance Unit (GSU): finances, resources, people, governance, and compliance. 

I support the Head of Business Management to translate decisions into operational practice and action and maintain an overview of the business management function. My approach to business management is strategic, with a focus on planning and problem solving. I like to see and make connections between different people and areas of work and to foster a strong network of working relationships. I am personally committed to the values of kindness, fairness, equality, diversity and inclusion
