My PhD work focused on phylogenomics of the Heliconius butterflies, an iconic group of Neotropical mimics. I studied the temporal dynamics of their diversification, interactions with the Passiflora host plants and genomics of interspecific hybridisation. I have extensive experience in tropical fieldwork, mostly in Latin America.
