I’m working with Richard Durbin (WTSI) and Stephen Chanock (NCI) to develop new methods for detecting genomic structural variation. These tools will then be used to locate germline and somatic variants in large patient cohorts. Currently, I’m searching for consequential variants in thyroid cancer patients exposed to radiation from the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
